Lions re-house kids books
Lions in the local newspaper – 26 July 2023. Since early 2023, Lions have been collecting used kids’ books from a box in Coles supermarket in Cowes. The books are sorted and re-housed in areas of need, such as recently flooded towns.

A bloke walked up to the Lions Club BBQ stall at a recent Cowes Carols by the Bay. “No thanks, I don’t want to buy any sausages,” he said. “I Just want to make a donation. You see, a Lions Club turned my life around a few years back.”
